Welcome To Cornerstone
Cornerstone Community Church is a body of believers who exist to glorify God by knowing Him, growing in Him, and leading others toward the same.
What do we mean by knowing Him?
We mean knowing Him personally through salvation, a free gift of grace received by faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 2:8-9).
What do we mean by growing in Him?
Those who are saved are new creations, sinners brought from spiritual death to spiritual life (2 Corinthians 5:17). Our lives are like trees, and as God changes our spiritual root, we produce spiritual fruit. Another word for this is discipleship—learning to follow Jesus well.
What do we mean by leading others toward the same?
The Good News of the Gospel is for the whole world (John 3:16). God calls each of His children to be a light in the darkness, that the sheep of His pasture might hear His voice and be brought into the fold (John 10:7-18)
These truths are specially revealed by God’s Word, the Bible, which is inspired, infallible, and inerrant in its original form.
